Seminole County Superior Court Records

The Pataula video-hearings notice says public observers of video proceedings should contact Judge Earnest's office or Judge Balkcom's office at least 24 hours before the scheduled proceeding. That rule is about observation of a proceeding, not a substitute for getting a certified copy from the clerk.
Seminole County Superior Court Cases
Superior Court is the main trial court for serious and higher-value matters in Seminole County. Criminal Superior Court records can include felony charges, indictments or accusations, arraignment entries, bond orders, motions, hearing notices, plea paperwork, verdicts, sentencing orders, probation terms, restitution, and dispositions. Civil Superior Court records can include complaints, answers, motions, orders, judgments, exhibits admitted into the record, subpoenas, and post-judgment filings.
Divorce records also belong with the Clerk of Superior Court when the divorce was granted in Seminole County. Georgia.gov says divorce begins at the Clerk's Office of Superior Court and that divorce copies must be requested from the Superior Court clerk in the county where the divorce was granted. Probate estate files, however, do not become Superior Court records merely because they are courthouse records. Estates and marriage-license copies route to Probate Court.

Seminole County Superior Court Setting
Seminole County is one of Georgia's younger counties, created in 1920 from parts of Decatur and Early counties. The New Georgia Encyclopedia courthouse entry states that the Seminole County Courthouse was built in 1922 in Donalsonville, is Beaux-Arts in style, and is the only courthouse in the county's history.
